The forum will feature a discussion of the history of US foreign, military and economic policy toward Central America & Mexico; the history of US immigration policy and the influence of racism and nativism; the impact of US policies on immigrant communities in New Hampshire; and the elements of a more humane immigration policy.
The panelists will be Lucy Salyer, UNH Professor of History; Gabe Camacho, an immigrant rights organizer in greater Boston; Eva Castillo of the NH Alliance for Immigrants and Refugees; and Maggie Fogarty of the AFSC NH program
October 4th Sunday Program Oct 27 will be a discussion of the new chapter of Faith and Practice on “Dying, Death and Bereavement [2]”. Please look it over carefully to see if it speaks fully to the topic to you as a Friend in New England Yearly Meeting.
