2.7 Grant Proposal for Solar Power on Meetinghouse:
The Meeting reviewed the Solar Project Committee’s work, the goals of which are:
The Meeting commits itself to implementing the plan as way opens, moving forward in faith.
The Solar Project Committee is now charged with moving forward with the project. The Meeting asks the Solar Project Committee to report its progress regularly and seek further assistance and direction from the Meeting as needed. The Meeting understands that some of the project funding would come from borrowing from the Replacement Reserve to be repaid through savings on our electric bill. Should the project not receive funding from the Legacy Gift Fund [1], the committee is asked to consider by what other means the project can proceed.
2.8 Community Safety Policy: Further revisions and suggestions were made regarding the proposed Community Safety Policy [2] which the Youth Religious Education Committee will use to refine the policy draft.
