Quarterly Meeting

Hello Friends,

We gather again as a Quarter this coming Sunday at 1 pm via Zoom. The link is below and I will re-send it closer to the time.

My apologies for the late notice, it snuck up on me. I will send out an agenda in a couple of days, please let me know if you have something you would like us to take up. If you, or someone from your meeting, will not be able to join us on Zoom, please send an update that we can share with those gathered.

In faith, Jeremiah

A Thank You From AFSC

Dear Potluck People,

It always amazes me how things come together, how beauty emerges from seeming chaos..... Last night was a wonderful FIRST TIME BACK TOGETHER evening, potluck dinner and celebration. There were people attending for whom this was their first social gathering in three years! There were people who thought right up until the last minute that they would attend on zoom, then reconsidered, came, and were so happy they did. There were people who brought food but then had to leave because they had another commitment. There were people who had never come before! As you know I don't use this word very often, but we are blessed.

So, MANY THANKS to you for recruiting other potluck people, bringing food, helping with set-up, the kitchen, clean-up and otherwise participating and making yesterday a successful, welcoming evening. KUDOS to us (and others as well of course)! I was sorry to miss those of you who didn't come but hope you were able to join and enjoy the program on zoom. A special shout-out to the Concord clean-up crew, and Tim, Danny and Mary: not my responsibility thank heavens, but essential and so appreciated. And to Arnie, who was thrilled his retirement now enables him to join the kitchen crew.! MANY HANDS.......

All best,

Lindsay Dearborn
