Concord (NH) Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends
7th Month 12, 2009
Concord (NH) Monthly Meeting gathered in Meeting for Worship for Business at the Merrimack Valley Day Care Center in Concord, NH. Friends present were Mark Barker, Greg Heath (Recording Clerk), David Mills, Linda Peters, Jay Smith, Sara Smith (Clerk), Alice Veenstra Flavin, David Woolpert.
Meeting opened with a period of worshipful silence.
7.1 Interim Budget Decision. The Meeting approved continuing the FY09 budget in FY10 on a monthly pro rata basis until a new budget is approved. The new budget will take into consideration expenses required for the new meeting house operations.
7.2 New Budget Planning. The Meeting would like to have a full discussion of the budget for the balance of the fiscal year at our September Meeting for Business. We ask the Finance Committee to bring a proposed budget.
7.3 Donation Announcement. Alice Veenstra Flavin announced that Barnstable Friends Meeting has offered a donation of $1,500 for heating system in the new meeting house.
