Quakers believe that faith without action is incomplete.  Quakers traditionally have been very involved in social issues (ending slavery, equal rights for women, prison reform, fair treatment of Native Americans, disaster and war relief efforts, homelessness, refugee concerns).

Children in the Meeting are introduced (in age appropriate ways) to concerns and often feel moved to act.  We are currently sponsoring a student in the Kakamega Orphans Care Centre (KOCC).  The children are involved in fundraising for Christine and writing letters to her.  At Christmas many children and their families (and people in Meeting) carol at a local nursing home.

Christmas Eve Caroling at a local nursing home followed by a short programmed worship in which children play a lead role.
