Friends of Dover Quarter will gather for a day of prayer and worship on Seventh Day, March 20, beginning at 9:30 a.m. At Dover Meetinghouse.

This arises from the expressed wish of Friends at Annual Sessions 2008 for more time to worship together.

We will have two sessions of waiting worship of 90 minutes to 2 hours, as well as time to share “almost messages” and to share food and fellowship.

Friends who attend are asked to prepare for a time of prayer in which each of us is responsible for nourishing a patient and living silence in which God’s ministry, whether silent or spoken,  may arise and be given time to be patiently absorbed.

Lunch and fellowship:  please bring a bag lunch; soup and bread will be provided

We are deliberately leaving the schedule fluid and encourage Friends to attend for the entire day, although it will be possible to attend either the morning or afternoon session.
